FOOTBALL - EPL - UNITED vs LEICESTER

Action returns to the English Premier League this weekend. One of the top games of the weekend will be played at Old Trafford. Saturday evening will witness Manchester United play Leicester City in an interesting fixture.

United are winless in three league games (D2, L1) after starting the season with a win. They start this round in eighth place and are already seven points behind leaders Liverpool. As for the Foxes, they are third in the table with eight points. Leicester are unbeaten this season so far (W2, D2) with four points away from home.

Manchester United Preview

The Red Devils have been struggling for consistency in front of the goal. To make things worse, injuries from the international break have hit United. Paul Pogba, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Jesse Lingard are doubtful after picking up knocks.

Considering his scoring form, winger Daniel James remains a strong fantasy pick. He has already found the net three times this season. Forward Marcus Rashford is also a decent pick considering his record against the Foxes. Rashford has scored three Premier League goals against Leicester, his highest record against any side.

Leicester City Preview

The Foxes haven’t won against United for ten matches in the league. However, this remains their best chance to erase that record. A top-six spot is Leicester’s target this season and Brendan Rodgers side has a strong side for this trip.

Think of Leicester and all eyes will be on Jamie Vardy. The forward is in fine form with three goals and one assist. That could continue against United as well. Youri Tielemans has enjoyed playing United in the past, while James Maddison might also look to shine against United.

Fantasy Players to Watch

Daniel James is the only positive factor for United so far. The speedy forward has picked up three goals so far and will look to add more.

James Maddison has two assists this season. The England winger can be a dangerous proposition and might look to push his case.

Jamie Vardy has started the season well with three goals and one assist. His duel against Harry Maguire could be interesting to watch.
