Fantasy Football: EPL Week 33 Everton vs Arsenal Preview

Everton vs Arsenal

The race for top-four is getting tighter in the English Premier League and Arsenal will look to consolidate their position when they visit the Goodison Park to take on Everton.

The Gunners are in the top-four of the league table and with Manchester United dropping points and Tottenham Hotspur looking vulnerable, they can put daylight between themselves and others. The hosts are in the reckoning for top-seven, but have history against them in this fixture.

Everton Preview

Everton have won their last two Premier League matches and are still in the race for the seventh place. The Toffees have lost just one of their last five matches in the league. They have recorded back-to-back wins only for the second time all season.

The most notable improvement is in their defence, where Everton have four clean sheets from their last five sheets. That includes two consecutive clean sheets and another will give them three clean sheets for the first time under Marco Silva as the manager.

Arsenal Preview

Arsenal will have one eye on the upcoming Europa League fixture against Napoli, as they plan consolidation of their Premier League top-four status. This fixture will be their toughest of the remaining lot, but they remain confident.

However, Arsenal are yet to win an away game against top-half opposition in 2018-19 season. They remain the only team in the Premier League yet to keep a clean sheet on road this season.

Fantasy Players to Watch

Alexandre Lacazette is the first-choice strike for Unai Emery this season and he could be starting this match ahead of other options. Considering his form, Lacazette warrants a place in your fantasy side.

Mesut Ozil has come out of wilderness with excellent performances in the recent weeks. The mercurial German can be silky on his day and the playmaker will look to continue his good run.

Richarlison is an exciting player for Everton. Although he has struggled to be consistent in the second half of the season, the Brazilian can be a threat for Arsenal.
