Rohit Sharma and Mohammed Shami player stellar roles as India stunned New Zealand with a Super Over win in the third T20I. The series is won 3-0 by India, but with two games remaining there is still so much at stake. The fourth T20I will be played on Friday at Wellington.
India will be looking to test their bench strength, as they look to get their T20 combinations right. New Zealand will be stung with the series loss and will look to win the remaining two matches. Either way, keep an eye on who can be a sure pick to play and then choose him for your fantasy side.
New Zealand Preview
Captain Kane Williamson roared back to form with a scintillating knock. It was not the usual aggressive T20 knocks that you would see, but was equally effective. He will be a crucial selection for your side. And, so will be Martin Guptill, who has been scoring quick-fire cameos at the top.
New Zealand’s bowling will be under focus, as the likes of Mitchell Santner and Ish Sodhi try to earn some points. Daryl Mitchell should get a game in the place of Colin de Grandhomme. Having an all-rounder in your side is always beneficial.
Rohit Sharma belied his poor start to the series, leading India from the front at Hamilton. With rotation the key word for this match. The likes of Shreyas Iyer and Manish Pandey should get more game time, so choosing them is not such a bad idea.
India could also be looking to give rest to one of their seamers. Jasprit Bumrah will have a heavy load of fixtures ahead and should get some time off. Yuzvendra Chahal is not a sure shot starter either, with Kuldeep Yadav waiting in the wings.
Fantasy Players to Watch
Kane Williamson came very close to leading his side to a win at Hamilton. The Kiwi captain will now look to lead his side over the run in the remaining two fixtures.
KL Rahul continues to excel with the bat, as he keeps scoring runs consistently. He also adds value to the side as a ‘keeper.
Rohit Sharma hasn’t really shined this series, with back-to-back single scores before Hamilton. Considering his penchant for runs, it is time for a big one.
