Fantasy Cricket: India vs West Indies T20I II Preview

A six-wicket comprehensive win at Hyderabad gave India a 1-0 lead. The series is still alive, though, as we move to Thiruvananthapuram for the second T20I on Sunday. Both teams will be keen for a win, albeit for different reasons.

A win will give India a chance to test their bench strength in the final T20I. For West Indies, anything but a win will result in a series loss. Either way, with the array of power hitters on display, we are in for a cracking game.

India Preview

Captain Virat Kohli didn’t let his early innings troubles bother him, as he waltzed past the Windies bowlers. With KL Rahul also contributing handsomely, the win was never in doubt. Bowling wise, Hyderabad T20I was a bad day at the office. It shouldn’t bother the confident Indian line-up that much.

Rohit Sharma had an off day at Hyderabad and should be aiming to be back among the runs. KL Rahul showed his new-found consistency, while Shreyas Iyer is also a good fantasy pick. The value choices could be Deepak Chahar and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

West Indies Preview

The visitors were able to put in a dominating batting display, but the bowlers let them down. The return of Nicholas Pooran bolsters their squad further. However, concerns remain over their fragile bowling unit.

Evin Lewis continued his love affair with Indian attacks in Hyderabad and is a good choice for your side. Shimron Hetmyer is a good pick too, while the returning Pooran could be a dark horse. The ever-energetic Kieron Pollard is also worthy of a place in your fantasy side.

Fantasy Players to Watch

KL Rahul continued to excel in what had been a great start to home summer. The opener is a good chance to be among the runs.

Rohit Sharma had a bad outing at Hyderabad, and would be keen to make amends. With his ability to strike the ball out of any park, Rohit is a good fantasy pick.

Nicholas Pooran will be looking to make up for his four-match absence with a good score. His range of strokes makes him a very good pick.
