After two dominating batting displays, Australia have taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the ODI series. Now the teams move from Sydney to Canberra to play the final ODI at the Manuka Oval.
The Australians have scored more than 750 runs in the last two matches and except Mohammed Shami all other Indian bowlers failed to impress. Captain Virat Kohli would like to change it in the final match to get at least a consolation victory.
Australian batsmen are in brilliant shape and scoring buckets full of runs. Their bowlers are leaking runs, but are taking regular wickets. Steve Smith is in wonderful form and with a chance of scoring three hundreds in the series. He must be a fantasy favourite. In the last game, all five of their top order batsmen scored fifties and specially Aaron Finch and Glenn Maxwell would be good picks for your team. David Warner and Pat Cummins are out of contention, though.
Mitchell Starc is not in good touch but can prove dangerous any time. However, Adam Zampa and Josh Hazlewood all are in good wicket taking form and should be essential in the fantasy.
Both the matches saw horrendous bowling performances from the Indian bowlers with Shami being the exception. They need to find their rhythm soon and identify the right areas to bowl. Hardik Pandya started bowling in the second match and picked up a wicket in his four overs. With two impressive performances with the bat, he is a must-pick for your team.
Virat Kohli played a good innings in the second ODI and would expect to carry on his form. Shikhar Dhawan and KL Rahul also looked good, although in patches. They need to play more dominating innings like their Australian counterparts to take India to their first victory of the tour.
Fantasy Players to Watch
With two centuries in the series, Steve Smith can easily make it three in three and give a bucketful of points.
Adam Zampa continued his good show and has already picked up six wickets, the highest in the series.
Hardik Pandya played a brilliant innings in the first ODI and looked solid in the second. Since he has started bowling again can provide important points from both disciplines.
