India and Australia will meet again on Sunday, 29th November at Sydney Cricket Ground to play the second ODI of the 3-match series. After a thumping win by Australians in the first ODI it will be a do-or-die match for the Indians to stay in the series.
In the similar conditions, another run-fest is expected. Indian batsmen will look to come at par as their Australian counterparts.
With two hundred from Aaron Finch and Steve Smith and a couple of useful knocks from David Warner and Glenn Maxwell, the Australian batting line up looked in great touch. Maxwell looked in great shape after a poor IPL. With key bowling responsibilities, he should be a great fantasy pick along with Finch, Warner and Smith.
For Aussie bowlers it was an easy job to defend that mountain of runs. Adam Zampa showed his class with four wickets and Josh Hazlewood chipped in with three scalps. Zampa is now a fantasy-must-have along with other three quick options. Marcus Stoinis has a side-strain and can be replaced by either experienced Moises Henriques or Cameron Green making his debut.
Indian bowlers had a horrible outing on Friday as no one stood out except Mohammed Shami. Their lack of sixth bowling option is hurting them badly and unless Hardik Pandya starts bowling it will continue. They may opt for Shardul Thakur or debutant Thangarasu Natarajan in place of struggling Navdeep Saini.
In batting also, they would expect their players to bat longer. Many of them got the start but could not capitalise. However, Shikhar Dhawan looked in good touch and should be a good pick for fantasy. Virat Kohli and Mayank Agarwal can also be good fantasy picks along with Pandya. He played a brilliant innings to provide India some hope.
Fantasy Players to Watch
Steve Smith has already scored more than 1000 runs in ODIs against India with an average above 63 with four hundreds. He should be an automatic choice in fantasy today.
Jasprit Bumrah had a poor outing in the first match but he is generally in good form. When he is in rhythm he can offer a bagful of fantasy points.
Adam Zampa has 14 wickets in his last four ODIs including a four-wicket haul on Friday. He should be part of any fantasy team.
