Sydney Thunder Preview
The Thunder started the season with a 15-run DLS method win over Melbourne Stars in a match handicapped by rain. On his BBL debut, Jason Sangha sparkled for the Thunder (63 from 36 balls), while Daniel Sams (34 from 21 balls, 3/5 in two overs) excelled with his all-round play.
The depth in batting and the presence of multiple all-round players gives Thunder the edge. As far as fantasy player picking goes, have a look at how Buttler, Watson or Sams can add value to your side!

Fantasy Players to Watch
Jos Buttler is a very strong presence at the top of the order for Sydney Thunder. The England international had a great year in T20s ever since he started opening. His ‘keeping gives extra impetus to have him in your fantasy side.
Daniel Sams had an excellent all-round game in the season opener, and is bound to get more chances up the middle-order to showcase his strong batting skills to go with his bowling.
Joe Denly may not have had a great start to this season, but we have seen in BBL07 how good he can be with the bat. His leg-spin is also an underrated asset and could be a surprise package for the Sixers.
